I did that first when reserving but didn't hear back within 24 hours so called (as our preferred date was less than a week away). Servings were generous.

What creativity, what a meal!Fantastic dinner experience at Détour.

Maybe need some happy hour incentives or push a great food item. When I called (during service hours), Emie confirmed she had seen my message but not managed to respond yet, so it is worth a shot if you still haven't travelled. Roasted curry cauliflower was ok, beet salad was ok, hummus was tasty but a bit weird; lots of mushrooms on top but the hummus was runny. service is always really good. Mimosa's great. Small but good wine list....Wonderful small restaurant, seats about 20 persons; run by a couple; young chef and charming female server; she has good English language skills; inventive dishes; good wines by the glass; reservation is important; we have dined here twice in last nine months; good and reasonably...The 6 course tasting menu is exceptional, every course was surprising and delicious. Highlights for us were the salad of grilled fruit with burrata, the hummus with mushrooms and the bouillabaisse. Should be busy. I am saddened to say that it ended up being a poor experience for us.Food and drinks are fabulous. I will not return, overpriced for a bad meal. Looking past patronage and the the bar decor, the openness to the street doesn't work here. We've gone to the happy hour several times and it can't be beat. The salmon and vegetables, beginning with a salad was perfect for someone wanting a low carb "lean and green option." I've driven by during the brunch hour and the place looked packed.We came in for happy hour - the food was good and came out fast - service was just ok - bartender was too busy chatting with friends to keep any eye on us - had to ask several times for another drinkI went there for dineLA, we had the shaved leg of lamb on a pita, it was more like a pizza, sounded good, but the pita (pizza) was pretty soft, it would have been better a little toasty as it was served as a pizza. This will be a 'must-do' on our list every time we...3hours after dining the four of us are still arguing over which of the six courses was the most fabulous which was most interesting and which was the most surprising! Loved the Prosecco grapefruit mimosas!The banana bread was the bomb, but the rest of the food was just OK. We had the mussels (eh), the bistro burger (eh to good), and the grilled cheese (liked this the least).
