If you're only after oil, it's easy to go straight east or west of where you leave cetus and head to the ocean. Let me understand. I was angry enough about losing the old focus stuff. There's a reason games don't let you do things like fly for free, but the flying itself also has to be justified as a cost. The low fish oil return from catches wouldn't be so bad if the fish spawned more often but they're pretty infrequent and so makes it quite a drawn out process to catch some fish which will get boring really quickly.... it also wouldn't be so bad if I didn't get every other session causing me to do zero damage to the fish. I don't mind using fish oil in the blueprint but I do have a problem with the amount that's needed for the tiny return you get from the fish.
